About the Auxiliary

The PNGAS Auxiliary's purpose to provide support and fellowship among National Guard families. Along with supporting legislative efforts, the Auxiliary is also concerned with family issues and provides scholarships for spouses and dependents.

Legislative Accomplishments

Legislative accomplishments on the Guard member’s behalf include:

  • Unlimited Commissary Privileges
  • No TRICARE fee increase
  • TRICARE Standard for ‘gray area’ Retirees under 60
  • Pay Increase of 3.4%
  • Guard Empowerment- Defense Act adds Guard Officer to Joint Chiefs
  • New GI Bill Education Benefits
  • Post 911 Veterans Education Improvement

Membership Types

Annual Member: A Spouse of active, retired, or former Guard member, who is an Enlisted member of PNGAS.

Life Member: A current annual member may apply for life membership by paying a one-time dues payment that apply up to age 60. The applicant’s spouse must be an Enlisted Life member of PNGAS.

Associate Member: An Individual who supports the objectives of the AUXILIARY but does not otherwise qualify for Annual or Lifetime membership.

Life Associate Member: An Individual who supports the objectives of the AUXILIARY but does not otherwise qualify for Annual or Lifetime membership by paying a one-time payment.
