PNGAS is the professional organization that represents nearly 20,000 Pennsylvanians who proudly serve their state and nation in the Pennsylvania Army and Air National Guard. PNGAS is the only organization solely dedicated to fighting for the Pennsylvania National Guard and its members, veterans, retirees, and families.

Membership is through the one of the national-level organizations, depending on your status:

Enlisted Personnel (current, separated, or retired) Officers / Warrant Officers (current, released, or retired) Spouses, Families, Supporters

How do I become a member of PNGAS?

PNGAS is an association comprised of members of the state chapters of the NGAUS for officers (formerly NGAPA) and the EANGUS for enlisted members (formerly PNGEA). Membership is obtained through joining one of these national organizations. With your membership in one of these organizations, you are automatically a member of PNGAS.

Which organization should I join?

That depends upon how you served. National Guard Officers, currently serving or released/retired, should join NGAUS. Enlisted personnel of the National Guard, currently serving or discharged/retired, should join EANGUS. If you are a current member of one of these organizations, you are automatically a member of PNGAS.

Family members, spouses, and any other person who wish to join PNGAS may do so by joining the EANGUS Auxiliary, either as a full member or as an associate member.

What memberships are available?

Memberships vary by constituent organization but are generally available as lifetime membership, annual membership, and associate membership.

Lifetime membership is a one-time payment that grants you membership for life.
Annual membership is a yearly payment that grants you membership for one year.
Associate memberships are generally available in and annual or lifetime basis. Associate members are not eligible to vote or hold office.
