NGAUS RESOLUTIONS DEADLINE July 1 is the deadline for National Guard associations to submit state/territory conference-approved draft resolutions to NGAUS. Executive directors and resolution chairs can upload all proposed changes to standing resolutions, new resolutions and state/territory co-sponsors.
Learn about the resolutions process and submit draft resolutions to NGAUS for consideration.
Throughout the spring and summer months, members are encouraged to submit draft resolutions through their state, territory or District of Columbia for consideration during their state conference. Once a draft resolution passes a state conference, the state association submits it to NGAUS for consideration at the NGAUS General Conference & Exhibition.
To submit your proposal, fill out the Resolutions Template Form completely and email to resolutions@pngas.org. The Resolutions team will contact you if more information is needed.
Download the NGAUS Resolutions Template FormOnce the collection of proposed state resolutions is submitted to NGAUS, staff review them and solicit input from the NGAUS Task Forces and the National Guard Bureau. Task Force membership is comprised of National Guard subject matter experts in their military careers.
When the NGAUS General Conference & Exhibition convenes, state delegates from the 54 states, territories, and the District of Columbia debate and then vote on the draft resolutions.
Once adopted, the resolutions then become standing resolutions, and they are published here and printed. The Legislative Objectives book is distributed to members of Congress and Department of Defense officials.
