The Pennsylvania National Guard Associations (PNGAS) announces that it is seeking proposals for a contractor to provide Executive Director services for itself and its component organizations, the National Guard Association of Pennsylvania (NGAPA), the Pennsylvania National Guard Enlisted Association (PNGEA) and Pennsylvania National Guard Foundation (PNGF). PNGAS is seeking a dynamic and capable individual to provide contracted services as the organizations’ executive director.

50 High Schools have earned the designation PNGAS Guard Friendly High School. The designation and standards were developed by the PNGAS Education Advisory Council to amplify high school best practices for recruiting, information-sharing, and group-formation in high schools for their support of the Pennsylvania National Guard.

PNGAS is pleased to announce 31 High Schools have earned the designation PNGAS Guard Friendly High School. The designation and standards were developed by the PNGAS Education Advisory Council to amplify high school best practices for recruiting, information-sharing, and group-formation in high schools for their support of the Pennsylvania National Guard.
At its July 23rd Board of Directors meeting, the Pennsylvania National Guard Associations (PNGAS) unanimously-approved and announced another 13 colleges and universities have earned the designation, PNGAS Guard-Friendly School.

The board of directors of the Pennsylvania National Guard Associations (PNGAS) approved the release of the application for PNGAS Guard Friendly High Schools. All high schools are encouraged to apply to be recognized as PNGAS Guard-Friendly High Schools. The high school designation is based on the extraordinarily successful designation for higher education, the PNGAS Guard Friendly Schools, created by the PNGAS Education Action Council, (“EAC”) chaired by Brigadier General (Retired) George Schwartz.
