We Act As YOUR VOICE In Harrisburg and Washington DC.
Your Membership Impacts The Reach And Power Of That Voice.
PNGAS Advocates For You!
PNGAS activities are designed to ensure the PA National Guard is fully manned, equipped, and trained to perform its missions as well as improving the benefits of all members and veterans of the PA National Guard and their families. We navigate the political landscape in Harrisburg and Washington DC to ensure our Guardsmen have a voice, and that voice is heard!
The Pennsylvania National Guard Associations (PNGAS) is the professional 501(c)(6) organization that represents nearly 20,000 Pennsylvanians who proudly serve their state and nation in the Pennsylvania Army and Air National Guard. PNGAS is the only organization solely dedicated to fighting for the Pennsylvania National Guard and its members, veterans, retirees, and families.
PNGAS is Partnerships
The purpose of the PNGAS is to support the Pennsylvania National Guard and its members by promoting the Guard and its efficient functioning and organization, advocating policies that will advance its well-being, fostering and improving it with cooperation and joint programs for officers and enlisted personnel through the National Guard Association of Pennsylvania (NGAPA) and the Pennsylvania National Guard Enlisted Association (PNGEA) – both organizations that partner to form PNGAS. The sole purpose of PNGAS is to harness the power of the two separate associations to provide a solid presence in the state and national capitals regarding legislative objectives.
All memberships are with either NGAPA or PNGEA, including retiree memberships. Nearly all of the membership dues collected go to our parent organizations at the national level. The national organizations are comprised of state chapters, like ours, from across the entire nation. Together, we form a large body that represents over 300,000 currently serving National Guardsmen and veterans. Our advocacy work and social events are funded through responsible investments and the generosity of our Corporate Sponsors and Industry Partners.
